My Thoughts: I really enjoyed this book but I think I enjoyed the second half of the book more. The first half had more Bible references and at times felt repetitious but the second was far more applicable.
Eggerich broke the second half down into two sections, what Women need and what Men need and that was really what I enjoyed. I fit his example 100% in what I need and why I need it. If all men read that section I think they’d understand us women far more! It makes sense and you get a well written explanation of how our minds work and what makes us tick. For the men’s part I learned a lot! I was definitely missing out on giving my hubby what he needs and I understand him a lot better.
No matter your relationship status or the health of your relationship this is a book you should read. If you don’t want the Bible and God references then I’d suggest reading the second portion of the book, especially as that is where you get the most information that is actually applicable and hands on.
