I get suckered into buying nail products that are suppose to help. All. The. Time. Even if I have a favorite I sometimes like trying out other products. And as you lovely readers know, just before Christmas I was singing the praise of 100% Pure Vitamin E Oil. I have not changed my mind, but I saw this at the supply store and figured I’d give it a try.
I have been using both products for about 2 weeks now, though I am drawn more to the drops than the hand creme. Both have a lemon citrus smell but I find the hand creme scent a bit too strong and off putting whereas the cuticle drops are not as strong. I cannot quite figure out what about the hand creme scent is that I dislike but there is something. On the flip side, I generally am not drawn to lemon scents for body products so that could be it. On the plus…the consistency of it is really nice, almost like a margarine in thickness (odd comparison I know), but I love. A little bit does go a really long way. It does not feel oily or greasy and absorbs quickly but still leaves your hands feeling moisturized.
The cuticle drops, as I already said, are probably my favorite of the two. With some cuticle oil I find there is an after dryness that I dislike. This stuff really softens my cuticles and in this winter craziness anything that softens and helps is a winner in my books.
With a quick Google search I found you can purchase the Orly Argan Oil Cuticle Drops at Sally’s Beauty ($10.99) but it does not look like they have the Hand Creme in stock yet. However, http://www.nailpolishcanada.com does have it for sale at $22.00. If you love a clean lemon scent than I would recommend this, if not there are lots of other hand cremes out there that will do the job and give a more pleasing scent.
