May Monthly Favorites

This month was a little quieter. I don’t really know where May went! I think it started off with me spending a lot of time on the deck playing UNO, which I refrained from putting on my favorites. The struggle … Continue reading

March Monthly Favorites

Untitled design(1)

Emergen-C Immune Plus – My g0-to when I am exhausted (I always worry that is a sign of a cold) or when I feel that annoying familiar tingle that is a sign of a cold arriving. There is a normal one that I also have but don’t take it regularly, more after a cold to help my body bounce back.

BLC Critical Repair Cream – I am always looking for the holy-grail of hand lotions, while I’m not sure I would claim this as that, it is amazing! With a slight fragrance, I don’t like anything strong on my hands, this cream absorbs fast and leaves my hands feeling moisturized and nourished. It is a thick cream and a little goes a long ways. Definitely a repurchase!

The People v. O.J. Simpson – Addiction! In case you have no noticed with all the books I’ve reviewed lately, I cannot get enough of this trial! If you’ve yet to jump on this wagon of  history, I highly recommend reading Jeffery Toobin’s book along with this series! It is amazing and addictive!

Wilder Mind by Mumford & Sons – Love this band! And this album has been on replay since I purchased it at the beginning of the month.

Routines App – A couple years ago I had been searching for an app that would allow me to enter cleaning tasks that would reset every week. I tried a few but this was the one I’ve stuck with. With life being so busy I have found this app especially useful in making sure I get all the house hold chores done and not forgetting what I need to get done regularly. If you are searching for an app that you can put in your routines, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly this is app for you! I love how simply and sleek this is as well. Others I’ve tried have seem kid-esque.

Algenist Pore Correcting Anti-Aging Primer – I have never had luck with primers…ever! They either dry out my skin, or do nothing with my foundation. I will admit that I have not been primer crazy and I blame to never finding one that I fell in love with. That has all changed! I originally got this as a sample from Sephora and within the first use I was hooked! It smoothed out my skin, blurred my fine lines and pores, but best of all it held my foundation in place! The cool thing about this primer is that it is in the skin care section of the store and the ingredients make me happy!

-Alguronic Acid: Supports natural cell regeneration for brighter, smoother, younger-looking skin.
-Salicylic Acid: Exfoliates dead skin cells and unclogs pores.
-Lentil Seed Extract: Tightens pores and decreases pore slackening by reinforcing skin’s collagen.
-Hibiscus Flower Extract: Supports natural cell turnover and strengthens moisture barrier for more even, refined skin.
-Ejitsu Rose Flower Extract: Visibly reduces the appearance of pore size.

And that is a wrap for March! Glad I got to share more than what I did last month! What products have you reaching? Or books you’ve fallen in love with? Anything and everything goes!
